My name is Greg M. Atkin and I am a guitarist, composer, watercolor artist and inventor.

I have placed a sample of one of my guitar compositions here on the Artisan StudioWorks web site for you to listen to. The selection is called Hop Skip & a Jump. The composition was written to help demonstrate the right hand flexibility and power of the new SharkTooth & Kodiak Crossover Picks from Strum-N-Comfort Picking Systems.

Just select the button to the right and listen.

Visit
http://www.strum-n-comfort.com for more information about the new Crossover Pick products.

I hope that you enjoy the art and music.

Peace,

Greg Atkin

The annual CAAS gathering is host to hundreds of guitarists that wish to celebrate the life of Chet Atkins. Greg Atkin began working with many noted guitarists during the event and they helped to develop the new "Crossover Pick" product. Click on the photo above to learn more.

BACKGROUND

Greg M. Atkin is a southern California native and has many creative interests. A businessman for 30 years, Greg is now working full time in the music & art field. His many interests include watercolor art, photography, art publishing, artist collaboration, inventing (see www.sharktoothpicks.com) and composing instrumental guitar music.

Artisan StudioWorks is the latest initiative underway and promises to be a very fruitful endeavor for all of the artists involved.

Areas of Artistic focus

Photography:
Commercial products, nature and human interest subjects.

Painting: Developed a watercolor art process and materials kit for all ages. The method is called "You are an Original Artist" and I teach the method to various groups around the southern California area.

Art & Craft Publishing: A broad selection that includes; visual art (graphite, colored pencil, watercolor and oils), music theme jewelry (manufacturing of affordable pins, lockets, clips, pendants and semi-precious stones), designs for leather consumer goods (embossed pouches, etc.).

Collaboration: The bringing together of one or more artisans and musicians for the purpose of exploring new applications and expression for their abundant talents.

Invention: Applied engineering in the area of music and other art related product development.

Composing: Listening to ones heart in terms of feeling and experience and creating the music that no one else can express (that is, "Originality").
