Len Aaron – Abstract Expressionist Painter
On any given day you will find ninety year old Len Aaron three feet up on a small ladder in his backyard with a can of paint and brush. Len paints every day to express his enthusiasm for life and for the enjoyment that he gets from meeting the next art lover to cross his path. “I will continue to paint as long as I meet people that want and enjoy what I create!” says Len.
Each painting is a spontaneous composition of color, form and natural material that, literally, falls onto the canvas. From time to time, the squirrel and bird population will even contribute a foot print, feather, a leaf or other organic element to Len’s work.
Some of the art work tells a clear story, other works commemorate a current event, while other compositions just fall onto the canvas with no apparent theme. Len says; “I have been painting for over fifty-five years. Sometimes I have an idea to express though a painting. However, most of the time, I choose a title for the art after I see the finished work. I just let the composition find itself as I create it.”
Now you can purchase, through Artisan StudioWorks, some of Lens’ most favorite art works in print. All of the fine art Giclee prints are enhanced and they are titled and signed by the artist. The common print size is 24” x 36” and is mounted on a stretched canvas frame. This is the most common canvas format for all of the Len Aaron original works as well.
